The modern-day Apostle: Mel Ahrey Torres
Not quite what you would expect when you pray for help or guidance from God. Mel Ahrey Torres, an energetic, Puerto Rican dyke lesbian from Long Island. Born July 20, 1970, just one year after Stonewall Riots. God planted this beautiful spirit with perfect timing. He knew the world was changing and God needed a modern-day Apostle, so Mel was born. Mel walked a life of challenges, learning, growing, seeking knowledge and understanding. Diving deep into learning the meaning of the Bible and God. Hours with teachers, studying, applying, teaching. Never giving up and fighting for her survival and the survival of other souls in her life. Growing a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit.
By half a century….Mel has arrived. A blessing and a divine gift from an Elder and winged Spirit, Mel’s new journey has begun. The earthly and ancestorial teachers are here and they channel the gifts of God into her Spirit. The earth shatters with an awaking. The time is now. Mel has a purpose, a calling, a message to deliver to ALL people. All races, nationalities, sexual orientation and economic status. EVERYONE on this planet.
We, the people, in large masses are lost. Not sure what to do, how to behave, don’t know how to be or give real love to self and others. The Apostle of the Information Age is here to remove the electronic vibrations and help us feel again with our HEARTS, to heal us and Pachamama.
When you say a prayer, asking for help from a Higher Power, Mel will come along, dig deep, get to know you, sometimes better than you know yourself. Your heart will be SQUEEZED and it will have a feeling like no other. You will feel connected, heard, appreciated and know YOU matter. You will feel LOVED.
Mel will vanish as quickly as she arrived. Moving onto the next soul that seeks healing. You will be left…. looking for this modern Apostle of GOD. If you didn’t know God before meeting Mel, you have a better understanding of Him after. You might not even realize it at first. Then you will wonder…seeking that magical feeling again. That connection. Those hands that touch you, heal you, the hands of God. The voice of an angel that brings a symphony to life and you never tire of listening. The eyes that pierce into your soul. The eyes you can’t and don’t want to pull away from once you lock on. You may even feel so much power you have difficulty looking into them. They draw you in. Grab ahold of you. You feel it. The tingles through your body. You are in the presence of God. You will walk, seeking that feeling again. The connection, the feeling that is difficult to put into words. The love, care, the safety and compassion. You fall in love with the feeling and Mel the Apostle who you connected with. This is not real earthly love, it’s the love of God. You realize know one will ever give you that feeling again. You look, hope, pray and seek it out in others. Nothing. Then you have an awakening, a realization that the seeking outside of yourself is not what this life is about. It’s about loving yourself. Deeper connection with YOU. Only you can love yourself as you need and deserve love. It’s between you and God. Mel lit the spark, showed you the divine light connection to God. Now it’s your responsibility to keep the light turned on. The connection alive. Walk a life of love, care and compassion and spread that magical vibration. Your love of self will overflow and you will have genuine connections like you were taught from Mel the Apostle.
You take this feeling, this love and spread it to others. You connect. Really learn about another soul. You listen to them and they feel heard. Maybe for the first time. Your connection lights the spark in them. Their heart comes alive. That day Mel, the modern-day Apostle, squeezed a drop of love from your heart, the ripple effect was in motion. One human, connected to God, with shoulders strong enough to carry the world, changed the world. One spirit at a time.
DISCIPLE to APOSTLE: Lived a life of a disciple, a student, one who learns from the teacher, God to an apostle who is sent to deliver or spread those teachings to others.
An angel: spiritual being superior to humans in power and intelligence. Messenger especially of God, a person who performs a mission of God or acts as if sent by God.

Gods’ expression of power is in action everywhere: but God himself is behind it all. Each person is given something to do that shows who God is. Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people. The variety is wonderful,

Clear understanding
Simple trust
Healing the sick
Miraculous acts
Proclamation
Distinguishing between spirits
Tongues
Interpretation of tongues
All these gifts have a common origin, but are handled out one by one by the on Spirit of God. HE decides who gets what, and when.
